Setup

Initial Setup

Setting Time and Date

The Armitron Sport 40/8445DGN watch typically features four buttons: MODE, RESET, START/STOP, and EL (for backlight). The exact button labels may vary slightly, but their functions are generally consistent.

1. In Timekeeping Mode, press and hold the MODE button until the seconds begin to flash. This indicates you are in setting mode.

Maintenance

Water Resistance

Your Armitron Sport 40/8445DGN watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This means it is suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but it is not suitable for scuba diving. Avoid pressing buttons underwater to prevent water ingress.
