Setup

1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the Polar OH1 battery. Connect the sensor to the USB charger and plug it into a USB port (e.g., computer, USB power adapter). The LED indicator on the sensor will show charging status.

2. Pairing with Devices

The Polar OH1 can be paired with various fitness apps, sportwatches, bike computers, and gym equipment via Bluetooth or ANT+.

  • For Polar Flow App: Download the Polar Flow app on your smartphone. Turn on the OH1 sensor. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair.

Starting a Training Session

Once paired, activate the sensor by pressing the button. The LED will indicate its status. Start your training session on your paired device or app. The OH1 can also record sessions independently to its internal memory.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Rinse the sensor and armband with fresh water after each use, especially after swimming or heavy sweating.
  • Clean the optical lens regularly with a soft cloth to ensure accurate readings.
