4. Setup and Assembly

5. Operating Modes

The XJD 5-in-1 Toddler Bike offers multiple configurations to support your child's development:

  1. Tricycle Mode: (Recommended for 12-24 months) Use with pedals attached and rear wheels splayed out for maximum stability.
  2. Pedalless Tricycle Mode: (Recommended for 12-24 months) Remove pedals and keep rear wheels splayed out. Child uses feet to propel.
  3. Little Two-Wheel Bike Mode: (Recommended for 2-3 years) Remove pedals and bring rear wheels closer together for increased balance challenge.
  4. Two-Wheel Balance Bike Mode: (Recommended for 2-3 years) Remove pedals and fully convert rear wheels to a single-wheel configuration.
  5. Balance Bike Mode: (Recommended for 2-3 years) Similar to Two-Wheel Balance Bike, focusing on balance without pedals.

Converting Rear Wheels:

To convert the rear wheels from tricycle to balance bike mode, locate the release mechanism on the rear axle. Press the button or pull the pin, then adjust the wheels inward until they are close together or form a single wheel, securing the pin back in place.

Removing/Storing Pedals:

The pedals can be easily removed by pressing the release button on the front wheel axle. The bike features convenient storage slots on the frame to keep the removed pedals secure when not in use.

6. Adjustments

Handlebar Adjustment:

The handlebar angle can be adjusted to suit your child's comfort and reach. Press the buttons on the side of the handlebar stem to rotate the handlebars between 35° and 90° positions.

Seat Height Adjustment:

The seat height is adjustable from 11.8 inches to 14.2 inches to accommodate your growing child. Loosen the screw beneath the seat, adjust to the desired height, and securely tighten the screw.

Steering Limit:
