1. Introduction
The Ulanzi L1PRO is a compact and versatile mini LED light designed for photographers and videographers. It offers four selectable brightness levels, a wide 60° beam angle, and is water-resistant up to 10 meters. With its integrated 1000mAh rechargeable battery and included color filters, the L1PRO provides flexible lighting solutions for various shooting conditions.

2. Safety Information
- Do not disassemble or modify the device. Unauthorized modifications may void the warranty and pose safety risks.
- Keep the device away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and corrosive liquids.
- Ensure the USB-C port cover is securely closed when using the device in wet conditions to maintain water resistance.

4. Setup
4.1. Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the Ulanzi L1PRO. Open the waterproof cover on the back of the device to reveal the USB-C charging port. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the port and the other end to a 5V USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

4.2. Attaching the Cold Shoe Adapter
The L1PRO features a standard 1/4-inch screw thread at the bottom. To mount it on a DSLR camera's hot shoe, screw the cold shoe adapter onto the 1/4-inch thread until secure. Then, slide the cold shoe adapter into your camera's hot shoe mount and tighten the locking wheel.
4.3. Installing Color Filters
Select a desired color filter. Place the filter into the filter adapter. Align the filter adapter with the front of the L1PRO light and gently press it into place until it clicks securely. To remove, gently pull the adapter off.
4.4. Attaching the Wrist Strap
Thread the thin loop of the wrist strap through the small eyelet located on the side of the L1PRO. Pass the larger end of the strap through the loop and pull to secure it. This helps prevent accidental drops.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off and Brightness Adjustment
The L1PRO is controlled by a single button. Press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds to power the device on or off. Once powered on, short press the button to cycle through the four available brightness levels. The light will remember the last brightness setting used.
5.2. Using with Cameras and Accessories
Mount the L1PRO onto your camera's hot shoe using the cold shoe adapter, or attach it to any tripod or accessory with a 1/4-inch screw mount. The compact size allows for versatile placement and integration with various setups, including smartphones, action cameras, and DSLRs.

5.3. Water Resistance
The L1PRO is IP67 rated, meaning it is water-resistant up to 10 meters. Ensure the USB-C port cover is fully sealed before exposing the device to water. After use in water, rinse with fresh water and dry thoroughly before charging.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the device is completely dry before use or charging.
6.2. Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing the device for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% every three months.
6.3. Storage
Store the L1PRO in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it protected from dust and physical impact.
7. Troubleshooting
- Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
- Battery not charging: Check the USB-C cable and power source. Ensure the cable is fully inserted into the port. Try a different cable or power adapter.
- Light flickering: This may indicate a low battery. Recharge the device. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
- Water leakage: If water enters the device, immediately power it off and do not attempt to charge or use it. Contact customer support.
