4. Assembly

The WORX WG512 Trivac is designed for quick and easy setup. Minimal assembly is required.

1. Attaching the Collection Bag: Locate the collection bag. Align the bag's opening with the vacuum port on the underside of the main unit. Securely attach the bag by twisting or clicking it into place until it is firmly seated. Ensure the quick-release mechanism is engaged.
2. Power Cord Connection: Connect a suitable outdoor-rated extension cord to the tool's power cord. Ensure the connection is secure and protected from moisture.

5. Operation

The WG512 Trivac offers three modes of operation: Blower, Vacuum, and Mulcher. The patented articulating design allows for easy conversion between modes without tools.

5.1 Mode Conversion

The unit features a single knob for quick conversion between blower and vacuum/mulcher modes. Simply turn the knob to switch the function. No need to change tubes or use additional tools.

5.2 Blower Mode

To use as a blower, ensure the mode knob is set to the blower position. The unit delivers up to 600 CFM (Cubic Feet Per Minute) of air volume and 70 MPH (Miles Per Hour) air speed, making it effective for clearing large areas.

• Starting: Plug in the unit and press the power switch.
• Speed Control: Utilize the 2-speed control switch to adjust airflow. Use low speed for delicate areas or tight corners, and high speed for open lawns and stubborn debris.
• Technique: Sweep the blower from side to side, moving debris into piles.

5.3 Vacuum and Mulcher Mode

To use as a vacuum and mulcher, set the mode knob to the vacuum position and ensure the collection bag is securely attached. The unit's metal impeller shreds leaves at a 16:1 mulch ratio, significantly reducing the volume of collected debris.

• Starting: Plug in the unit and press the power switch.
• Technique: Move the vacuum nozzle slowly over the leaves. For optimal performance, vacuum dry leaves. Wet leaves can reduce suction and cause clogging.
• Mulching: The integrated metal impeller automatically mulches leaves as they are vacuumed, reducing 16 bags of leaves into 1.
• Emptying the Bag: When the collection bag is full, disconnect the power, then detach the bag using the quick-release mechanism and empty its contents.
