2. Safety Instructions

4. Operating Instructions

The KOBRA 430 TS C4 is designed for user-friendly operation with its conveyor belt feeding system and automatic functions.

1. Power On: Turn on the main power switch, usually located on the control panel. The shredder will enter standby mode.
2. Feeding Material: Place the material to be shredded onto the conveyor belt. The shredder features an automatic start/stop function; the conveyor belt will activate when material is detected and stop once shredding is complete.
3. Capacity: The shredder can handle up to 130 sheets of paper at a time. It also shreds CDs, DVDs, credit cards, and floppy disks. Do not overload the machine beyond its specified capacity.
4. Continuous Operation: The 24-hour continuous duty motor allows for extended shredding sessions without a duty cycle or timed cool-down period.

5. Maintenance

• Waste Bag Replacement: When the waste container full signal illuminates, turn off the shredder, open the cabinet door, and carefully remove the full waste bag(s). Replace with new plastic waste bag(s) and ensure they are properly secured. Close the cabinet door securely.
• Automatic Oiling System Check: Periodically check the oil level in the automatic oiling system reservoir. Refill with Kobra Oil (art. code SO-1532) as needed to ensure continuous lubrication of the cutting knives. This is crucial for maintaining shredding efficiency and extending the life of the cutting unit.
• Cleaning: Keep the exterior of the shredder clean using a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the conveyor belt area is free from debris.
• Cutting Knives: The carbon hardened steel cutting knives are designed to be robust and are unaffected by staples and metal clips commonly found in documents. However, avoid intentionally shredding large or excessive metal objects.

• Shredder Does Not Start:
