1. Product Overview
The Concord 4 Channel HD DVR Package is a comprehensive surveillance system designed to protect your property. This kit includes a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) with a built-in 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and four weatherproof 1080p HD bullet cameras. The system features infrared LEDs for night vision up to 15 meters and Thermal Detect Technology to minimize false triggers.
The DVR supports various viewing options, including direct connection to an HDTV or LCD monitor via HDMI or VGA, and remote access via a free application on Apple or Android compatible smartphones and tablets. Peer-to-Peer (P2P) technology simplifies smartphone connectivity through QR code scanning. A USB mouse is included for easy navigation of on-screen menus, and an additional USB 2.0 port allows for saving recordings to a USB drive or performing firmware updates.

2. Package Contents

3. Setup Guide
3.1 DVR Connection
Follow these steps to connect your DVR unit:
- Connect a Monitor: Connect a monitor (HDTV or LCD) to the DVR using either an HDMI cable or a VGA cable.
- Connect the USB Mouse: Plug the included USB mouse into one of the USB ports on the front or back of the DVR.
- Connect to Network (Optional but Recommended): For remote viewing and updates, connect an Ethernet cable from the DVR's LAN port to your router.
- Connect Power: Plug the DVR power adapter into the DVR's DC 12V input and then into a power outlet. The DVR will power on automatically.

3.2 Camera Installation
Before mounting, plan the camera locations to ensure optimal coverage and access to power outlets. The cameras are weatherproof and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
- Mounting: Use the provided screws and plugs to securely mount each camera to a wall or ceiling. Adjust the camera angle for the desired field of view.
- Connect Camera Cables: Connect the BNC video connector from each camera cable to the corresponding Video Input port on the back of the DVR (labeled 1-4).
- Connect Camera Power: Connect each camera's power cable to its respective power adapter, and then plug the adapters into power outlets.

3.3 Network Setup for Remote Access
To view your surveillance system remotely on a smartphone or tablet, ensure the DVR is connected to your network (as per Section 3.1).
- Download the App: Search for the official Concord surveillance app on your smartphone's app store (Apple App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android).
- Register/Login: Follow the in-app instructions to create an account or log in.
