Setup

Before First Use

  1. Remove any labels or protective film from the soleplate.
  2. Ensure the iron is unplugged.
  3. Fill the water tank (see "Filling the Water Tank" below).
  4. Perform a test iron on an old piece of fabric to ensure no residue is left on the soleplate.

Filling the Water Tank

  • Ensure the iron is unplugged and cooled down.
  • Set the steam selector to the "Dry Ironing" position (no steam).
  • Open the water filler cap.
  • Using a measuring cup, carefully pour tap water into the water tank up to the "MAX" fill line. Do not overfill.
  • Close the water filler cap securely.

Note: For optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup, it is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water, especially in areas with hard water.

Operating Instructions

Dry Ironing

  1. Ensure the water tank is empty or the steam selector is set to "Dry Ironing".
  2. Plug the iron into a suitable electrical outlet (120V AC, 60Hz).
  3. Set the temperature dial to the desired fabric setting (e.g., Silk, Cotton, Linen). The indicator light will illuminate.
  4. Wait for the indicator light to turn off, indicating the iron has reached the set temperature.
  5. Begin ironing.

Steam Ironing

  1. Fill the water tank as described in the "Setup" section.
  2. Plug the iron into a suitable electrical outlet.
  3. Set the temperature dial to a steam-appropriate setting (usually Cotton or Linen, indicated by steam symbols on the dial). The indicator light will illuminate.

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning the Soleplate

  • Ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cooled.
  • Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary.
  • Do not use metallic scouring pads or abrasive cleaners, as these can scratch the titanium coating.

Anti-Calc System

The integrated Anti-Calc system helps to reduce mineral buildup in the steam vents. While this system is effective, regular maintenance can further extend the life of your iron.

  • Always empty the water tank after each use.
  • If using tap water, consider using a 50/50 mixture of tap water and distilled water, or solely distilled water, especially in hard water areas.

Storage

  • Ensure the iron is unplugged, cooled, and the water tank is empty.
  • Wrap the cord neatly around the cord storage area (if available) or secure it with a tie.
  • Store the iron upright on its heel rest to prevent damage to the soleplate.
