Setup Instructions

1. Track Assembly

1. Choose a flat, stable surface for track assembly. Ensure sufficient space for the 14.10-ft track layout.
2. Carefully connect the track sections by aligning the connectors and pressing them firmly together until they click into place. Refer to the track layout diagram on the packaging for suggested configurations.
3. Integrate the power connection track section into your layout.
4. Attach guardrails to the outer curves of the track to prevent cars from flying off.
5. Install the 2-piece jump ramp in the designated section of the track, ensuring it is securely fitted.

2. Car Preparation

• Ensure the guide pins and contact brushes on the underside of each car are clean and properly positioned.
• Place the Mario and Luigi slot cars onto their respective track slots, ensuring the guide pin is correctly inserted into the track groove.

3. Power Connection

• This set requires 4 Type-D batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the power connection track section and insert the batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
• Alternatively, the set can be upgraded to electric power with the purchase of a compatible power adapter (sold separately). Connect the adapter to the power connection track section and a suitable power outlet.
• Connect the speed controllers to the designated ports on the power connection track section.

Operating Instructions

Basic Racing

2. Each player takes one speed controller.
3. To start racing, gently press the trigger on your speed controller. The further you press, the faster your car will go.
4. Practice controlling your car's speed to navigate curves without derailing.

Jump Ramp Usage

• The jump ramp adds an exciting challenge. Approach the ramp with sufficient speed to clear the gap, but not so fast that the car overshoots the landing or derails.
• Experiment with different speeds to master the jump.

Maintenance

Track Care

• Keep track sections clean and free of dust, dirt, and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the track surface regularly.
• Ensure track connections remain tight for consistent electrical contact.

Car Care

• Contact Brushes: Regularly check the contact brushes on the underside of the cars. They should be clean and positioned to make good contact with the track's metal rails. If worn, they may need replacement (replacement parts sold separately).
• Guide Pins: Ensure the guide pin is straight and free of debris. A bent or dirty guide pin can cause poor handling.
