Setup and Installation
The Craftmade PHA52W4 fan is designed for dual mount installation, suitable for both flat and angled ceilings. Ensure the ceiling outlet box is securely mounted and capable of supporting the fan's weight.
- Prepare the Mounting Location: Turn off power at the circuit breaker. Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling outlet box using the provided hardware.
- Assemble the Downrod: Insert the downrod through the canopy and connect it to the fan motor housing. Secure with the provided pin and screw.
- Hang the Fan: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it from the mounting bracket.
- Electrical Connections: Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the wiring diagram in the full installation guide. Ensure all connections are secure with wire nuts.
- Secure the Canopy: Slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting bracket with the provided screws.
- Attach Fan Blades: Attach the four fan blades to the motor housing using the blade screws. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
- Install Light Kit: Connect the integrated LED light kit wires to the fan motor housing wires. Secure the light kit to the fan housing.

Operating Instructions
Your Craftmade PHA52W4 ceiling fan is operated via pull chains for fan speed and light control. It also features a reverse function for seasonal use.
- Fan Speed Control: Pull the fan chain repeatedly to cycle through the three available speeds (High, Medium, Low) and Off.
- Light Control: Pull the light chain to turn the integrated LED light On or Off.
- Reverse Function: A switch located on the fan motor housing allows you to change the direction of blade rotation.
- Downward Airflow (Summer): Set the switch for counter-clockwise rotation to create a cooling breeze.
- Upward Airflow (Winter): Set the switch for clockwise rotation to circulate warm air trapped near the ceiling.
- Optional Controls: This fan is compatible with Craftmade remote and wall controls (Part Number: UCI-2000-2), sold separately. Refer to the instructions provided with the optional control for pairing and operation.
Maintenance
