1. Product Overview

The Walfront SEAFRONT Ultrasonic Water Tank Depth Sensor is designed to monitor the liquid depth level in a tank and display it on a 10-element LCD bar graph. This device also records minimum and maximum liquid levels, supports high/low liquid level alarms, and provides an empty tank alert. It simultaneously displays both indoor and tank temperatures. The receiver unit is versatile, suitable for desktop placement or wall mounting.

2. Package Contents

Before proceeding with installation, please ensure all components are present:

• 1 x Water Level Transmitter
• 1 x Indoor Receiver
• 2 x Screws

Note: Batteries are not included and must be purchased separately. The receiver requires 2 x 1.5V AA LR3 alkaline batteries, and the transmitter requires 6 x 1.5V AAA LR6 alkaline or lithium batteries.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Battery Installation

Install batteries into both the transmitter and receiver units. Ensure correct polarity.

3.2 Transmitter Installation

The transmitter should be installed at the top of your water tank. Ensure the sensor is positioned correctly to accurately measure the liquid level. Refer to the diagram for optimal placement and to avoid common installation errors.

3.3 Receiver Placement

Place the receiver unit in a convenient indoor location. It can stand freely on a desk or be mounted on a wall using the provided screws. Ensure it is within the transmission range of 100 meters (300 feet) in an open field from the transmitter.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Understanding the LCD Display

The receiver's LCD provides comprehensive information about your tank's liquid level and temperature. Familiarize yourself with the display areas and icons:

• Value Display Area: Shows current tank level and temperatures.
• Tank Temperature and Water Level Icon: Indicates the displayed tank temperature and water level.
• Water Level Unit: Displays the unit for water level (e.g., meters).
• Tank Temperature Unit (°C/°F): Indicates the unit for tank temperature.
• Outdoor Low Battery Indicator: Alerts when the transmitter's batteries are low.

5. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Walfront SEAFRONT sensor, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the transmitter and receiver when the low battery indicator appears. The estimated battery life is a minimum of 12 months for both units.
• Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of both units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the units in water.
• Transmitter Inspection: Annually inspect the transmitter for any signs of wear or damage, especially if exposed to harsh weather conditions. Ensure the sensor area is free from debris or buildup that could obstruct readings.
• Liquid Compatibility: This device is designed for use with non-corrosive liquids only. Using it with corrosive liquids may damage the sensor and void the warranty.

• No Display on Receiver:
  - Check if batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  - Ensure the receiver is powered on.
• No Liquid Level Reading:
  - Verify that the transmitter has fresh batteries and is powered on.
  - Check the wireless connection (RF signal indicator on receiver). Move receiver closer to transmitter if signal is weak.
  - Ensure the transmitter is installed correctly and the sensor is not obstructed.
  - Confirm the liquid in the tank is non-corrosive and within the measurement range (0-15m).
• Inaccurate Readings:
  - Re-check transmitter installation according to the diagram in Section 3.2. Incorrect placement can lead to inaccurate measurements.
  - Ensure the tank liquid is calm and free from excessive turbulence.
  - Verify the sensor is clean and free from any buildup.

  - Verify that the alarm volume is not set to mute or a very low level.
