1. Introduction

2. Safety Information and Warnings

WARNING: Improper handling of lithium-ion batteries can lead to fire, explosion, or other hazards. Always follow these safety guidelines:

• Do not disassemble, open, or service the battery pack.
• Do not crush, puncture, short external contacts, or dispose of in fire or water.
• Do not store above 60°C (140°F).
• Replace only with the battery pack designated for this product.
• Keep the battery away from children.
• If the battery leaks, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with skin or eyes. If contact occurs, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
• Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations. Do not dispose of with household waste.

4. Setup and Installation

1. Locate Battery Compartment: Identify the battery compartment on your HME device. This is typically on the back or bottom of the unit.
2. Remove Old Battery: Carefully open the compartment and remove the old battery. Note its orientation.
3. Insert New Battery: Align the FITHOOD replacement battery with the contacts in the compartment. Gently push it into place until it clicks or sits securely.
4. Secure Compartment: Close the battery compartment cover.
