2. Safety Information
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, always disconnect power at the main circuit breaker or fuse box before beginning installation or performing any maintenance. Ensure all electrical connections comply with local codes and ordinances, as well as the National Electric Code (NEC). If you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring, consult a qualified electrician. This fixture is designed for outdoor use and is wet-rated. Do not modify the fixture or use it for purposes other than its intended design.
3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Installation
Assembly is required for this fixture. Follow these steps carefully for proper installation.
- Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the outdoor lighting circuit and turn it OFF. Ensure power is disconnected before proceeding.
- Prepare Mounting Surface: Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound to support the fixture.
- Install Mounting Plate: Attach the mounting plate (included in hardware kit) to the junction box using the provided screws. Ensure the plate is securely fastened.
- Wire Connections:
- Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
- Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box and the mounting plate using a wire nut or ground screw.
- Secure Fixture: Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box. Align the fixture with the mounting plate and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure the fixture is flush against the wall and stable.
- Install Bulb: Insert a compatible bulb (see Section 5.1) into the socket. Do not exceed the maximum wattage specified in the Specifications section.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back ON at the circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Dusk-to-Dawn Photocell Operation
The VAXCEL T0494 fixture is equipped with a built-in photocell sensor that automatically turns the light on at dusk and off at dawn. This feature provides convenience and energy savings by ensuring the light operates only when needed.

5.2. Compatible Bulbs
This fixture uses an E27 bulb base and supports various bulb types. Ensure the bulb wattage does not exceed 60 watts. Compatible bulb types include:
- Halogen
- Incandescent
- Vintage Filament
- LED (and Color Changing)
- LED Vintage Filament
Note: Dimmable bulbs require a compatible dimmer switch. An LED bulb must be listed as dimmable to function with a dimmer.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your outdoor wall mount light.
- Cleaning: Clean the fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or any products containing alcohol, as these can damage the finish or electrical components.
- Bulb Replacement: Before replacing a bulb, ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker. Allow the old bulb to cool completely before removing it. Install a new bulb of the correct type and wattage (E27 base, max 60W).
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the fixture for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. If any issues are found, disconnect power and address them promptly.
