- To power on the console, press the POWER button located on the front. The indicator light will turn green.
- To power off, press the POWER button again. The indicator light will turn red.
Playing Games and DVDs
- Open the Disc Tray: Press the OPEN button on the front of the console to open the disc tray cover.
- Insert Disc: Place a PlayStation 2 game disc or a DVD video disc onto the disc tray spindle, label side up. Gently press down on the center of the disc until it clicks into place.
- Close the Disc Tray: Close the disc tray cover until it clicks shut.
- Start Game/DVD: If the console is already on, the game or DVD should start automatically. If not, navigate to the "Browser" or "System Configuration" menu using your controller and select the disc icon to start.
