Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the clock radio from its packaging.
  2. Protective Film: Important: Remove the clear plastic film from the front display. This film is for protection during shipping and should be removed before use.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the provided AC adapter to the "Charging" port on the back of the unit and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The device will power on automatically or can be turned on using the On/Off button.
  4. Battery Backup: The device includes a pre-installed Lithium Ion battery (1800 mAh) for battery backup during power outages and for portable music playback for up to 10 hours. Ensure the device is regularly connected to AC power to keep the internal battery charged.
  5. Initial Time Setting: Upon first power-on, the clock display may flash or show a default time. Proceed to the "Setting the Clock" section to set the correct time.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting the Clock

  1. Press and hold the Clock Set button until the hour digits begin to flash.
  2. Rotate the Rotary Knob to adjust the hour. Press the Clock Set button again to confirm the hour and move to the minute setting.
  3. Rotate the Rotary Knob to adjust the minutes. Press the Clock Set button again to confirm the minutes.
  4. To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format, press the Clock Set button once more after setting the minutes. Use the Rotary Knob to select the desired format.
  5. Press the Clock Set button one last time to exit time setting mode.

2. Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2)

The device supports two independent alarms.

  1. Press and hold the Alarm Clock 1 (or Alarm Clock 2) button until the alarm hour digits begin to flash.
  2. Rotate the Rotary Knob to adjust the alarm hour. Press the corresponding Alarm Clock button again to confirm and move to the minute setting.
  3. Rotate the Rotary Knob to adjust the alarm minutes. Press the Alarm Clock button again to confirm.
  4. Next, select the alarm source (e.g., buzzer, FM radio, Bluetooth). Use the Rotary Knob to cycle through options and press the Alarm Clock button to confirm.
  5. Finally, set the alarm volume using the Rotary Knob. Press the Alarm Clock button to save and activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.
  6. To disable an alarm, press the corresponding Alarm Clock button once. The alarm icon will disappear.
  7. To snooze an active alarm, press any button except the On/Off button. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes.

Note: Some users have reported issues with alarm volume or radio alarms. Ensure the volume is set appropriately during alarm setup.

3. Adjusting Display Dimmer

The LED display has multiple brightness levels.

4. FM Radio Operation

To improve FM reception, ensure the 3.5mm audio cable is plugged into the AUX In port, as it functions as the FM antenna.

  1. Press the Mode button until "FM" appears on the display.
  2. Press the FM Scan button to automatically scan and save available FM stations. The radio will scan and store up to 20 stations.
  3. Use the Back or Next buttons to navigate through the saved stations.
  4. Adjust the volume using the Rotary Knob.

Note: Radio reception can vary based on location. If experiencing static, try repositioning the device or the AUX cable antenna.

5. Bluetooth Speaker Pairing

  1. Press the Mode button until "BT" (Bluetooth) appears on the display and the Bluetooth indicator flashes. This indicates the device is in pairing mode.
  2. On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "COBY CWBR110WH" from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing and remain solid. You can now play audio from your device through the clock radio's speakers.
  5. Adjust playback and volume using your connected device or the Play/Pause, Back, Next buttons, and the Rotary Knob on the clock radio.

6. Wireless Charging (Qi-Certified)

The top surface of the clock radio features a Qi-certified fast wireless charging pad.

  1. Ensure the clock radio is powered on and connected to the AC adapter.
  2. Place your Qi-compatible smartphone (e.g., iPhone 8/X/XS/XR, Samsung Galaxy S9/S10/Note 9 and newer models) directly onto the charging pad area on top of the clock.
  3. The charging indicator on the clock display will illuminate to confirm charging has begun.
  4. For optimal charging, ensure your device is centered on the charging pad. Remove any thick phone cases that may interfere with charging.

Note: Wireless charging is compatible with Qi-enabled devices. Older iPhone models (e.g., iPhone 6) do not support wireless charging.

7. USB Charging Port

An additional 2.1A USB port is located on the back of the unit for wired charging of other devices.
