4. Setup and First Use

Before using your rice cooker for the first time, follow these steps:

5.1. Cooking Rice

  5. Cover the inner pot with the glass lid.

  8. Once the rice is cooked, the switch will automatically flip up to the 'WARM' position, and the 'WARM' indicator light will illuminate.
  9. Allow the rice to rest on 'WARM' for 5-10 minutes before serving for best results.
  10. Unplug the rice cooker from the outlet after use.

5.2. Steaming Food

The included steam tray allows you to steam vegetables, fish, or other foods while cooking rice or separately.

  1. Add water to the inner pot (ensure water level is below the steam tray).
  2. Place the food to be steamed into the steam tray.
  3. Carefully place the steam tray into the inner pot.
  4. Cover with the glass lid and press the 'COOK' switch.
  5. Monitor the food and remove when cooked to your preference.
