1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using this appliance to prevent injury and property damage. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Ensure the washing machine is connected to a standard 110V, 3-prong grounded outlet.
• This machine has only ONE water inlet. Connect it to a standard faucet using the provided inlet hose and quick adapter. Adjust water temperature directly at the faucet.
• During manufacturing, a small percentage of machines are water tested, which may result in residual water or watermarks. This is normal and does not indicate a used product.
• Before first use, locate and remove the black rectangular plastic piece at the bottom of the machine. This is a motor protection part for shipping and is not part of the appliance.
• Do not operate the machine if it is damaged or malfunctioning. Contact customer support.
• Keep children and pets away from the appliance during operation.

2. Product Overview

The Panda PAN56MGW2-01 is a compact and portable top-load washing machine designed for small loads and spaces such as apartments, dorms, RVs, or as a secondary washer. It features a durable stainless-steel drum and user-friendly electronic controls.

3. Setup & Installation

3.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the washing machine from its packaging.
2. Locate and remove the black rectangular plastic piece from the bottom of the machine. This piece is for motor protection during shipping and is not part of the appliance.
3. Inspect the machine for any visible damage.

3.2 Water Inlet Connection

The machine has a single water inlet. Use the provided inlet hose and quick adapter to connect to a standard faucet.

1. Connect one end of the inlet hose to the water inlet port on the back of the washing machine.

2. Attach the quick adapter to your standard faucet.
3. Connect the other end of the inlet hose to the quick adapter on the faucet.

4. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
5. Adjust water temperature directly from your faucet as the machine only has one inlet.

3.3 Drain Hose Setup

Position the drain hose to allow for proper water drainage.

• Place the end of the drain hose into a sink, laundry tub, or standpipe. Ensure it is securely positioned to prevent it from falling out during the drain cycle.
• The drain hose length is approximately 55 inches.

3.4 Power Connection

• Plug the washing machine into a standard 110V, 3-prong grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The electronic control panel allows you to select wash programs, water levels, and other functions.

4.2 Loading Laundry

• Open the top lid.
• Load clothes loosely into the stainless steel drum, ensuring not to exceed the 11 lbs. capacity. Overloading can affect washing performance.
• Close the lid securely.

4.3 Adding Detergent

• Add the appropriate amount of detergent directly into the drum with the clothes, or into the designated detergent dispenser if available (refer to specific model features).

4.4 Selecting a Wash Cycle

1. Press the 'Power' button to turn on the machine.
2. Use the 'Program' button to cycle through the 10 available wash programs: Normal, Standard, Quick Wash, Heavy Duty, Soak & Wash, Wash, Wash & Rinse, Rinse & Spin, Spin, Air Dry. Select the program suitable for your laundry type.
3. Use the 'Water Level' button to select one of the 8 water levels based on your load size.
4. Optional: Use the 'Delay' function to set a delayed start time.
5. Press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the wash cycle.

4.5 Child Lock Function

• To activate or deactivate the child lock, refer to the control panel instructions or press and hold the designated 'Child Lock' button (often combined with 'Water Level' or 'Spin') for a few seconds until the indicator light appears/disappears.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Drum

• Regularly wipe down the stainless steel drum with a soft, damp cloth to prevent residue buildup.
• For deeper cleaning, run an empty cycle with a washing machine cleaner or a mixture of white vinegar and baking soda.

5.2 Exterior Cleaning

• Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

5.3 Inlet Filter Cleaning

• Periodically check the filter screen at the water inlet connection for debris. Clean if necessary to ensure proper water flow.
