This Brio water cooler offers three temperature settings: crisp cold, room temperature, and piping hot, catering to a variety of beverage needs. Its convenient bottom-loading design eliminates the need for heavy lifting, making bottle replacement effortless. The integrated UV self-cleaning feature ensures hygienic water dispensing, while the child-safety lock on the hot water spout provides peace of mind.

Setup and Installation

Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the water cooler from its packaging.
  2. Place the unit on a flat, stable surface, ensuring it is away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Allow at least 4 inches of clearance from the wall for proper ventilation.
  3. Ensure the power cord is easily accessible and not pinched.

Water Bottle Installation

The Brio water cooler features a bottom-loading design for easy bottle replacement. This eliminates the need to lift heavy 3 or 5-gallon water bottles onto the top of the dispenser.

  1. Open the lower cabinet door of the dispenser.
  2. Remove the cap from your 3 or 5-gallon water bottle.
  3. Insert the probe from the dispenser into the opening of the water bottle. Ensure the probe is fully inserted to prevent leaks.
  4. Slide the water bottle into the lower cabinet.
  5. Close the cabinet door securely.
  6. Plug the dispenser into a grounded electrical outlet.

After installing a new bottle, allow approximately 15-20 minutes for the water to reach optimal temperatures before dispensing. It is recommended to dispense and discard the first 1-2 liters of water from each spout to flush the system.

Operating Instructions

Your Brio water cooler provides three distinct water temperatures for your convenience.

The control panel features indicator lights to keep you informed about the dispenser's status:

Nightlight Feature

The built-in nightlight provides visibility in low-light conditions, making it easy to dispense water without turning on overhead lights. It also illuminates the removable drip tray, allowing you to easily see when it needs to be cleaned.

Maintenance

UV Self-Cleaning

The Brio water cooler is equipped with an automatic UV self-cleaning feature that helps protect against harmful contaminants. To activate, simply press the dedicated self-clean button. The unit will perform a cleaning cycle, ensuring hygienic water. This process is chemical-free and requires minimal effort.

Drip Tray Cleaning

The removable drip tray should be cleaned regularly to prevent water overflow and maintain hygiene. Simply slide out the tray, empty any accumulated water, wash it with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and then reinsert it into the dispenser.

Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the dispenser with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the stainless steel finish.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No water dispenses.Water bottle is empty or probe is not fully inserted.Replace water bottle or ensure probe is correctly seated. Check if the unit is plugged in and powered on.
Water is not hot/cold enough.Heating/cooling functions are off or unit recently plugged in.Ensure hot/cold switches on the back of the unit are ON. Allow 15-20 minutes for water to reach desired temperature.
Red bottle indicator light is blinking.Water bottle is empty.Replace the water bottle.
Unusual noise from the unit.Normal operation (compressor cycling) or unit not level.Ensure the unit is on a level surface. Some noise during heating/cooling cycles is normal.
