Setup

  1. Unboxing: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all listed items are present.
  2. Battery Installation (if not pre-installed): The airliner requires 3 LR41 batteries for the landing light function. If not already installed, locate the battery compartment (typically on the underside of the aircraft) and insert the batteries, observing correct polarity. The batteries are included.

Operating Instructions

The Siku 5402 Airliner is designed for manual operation, allowing for imaginative play scenarios.

  1. Taxiing: Use the aircraft tug to maneuver the airliner on the ground. The tug connects to the front landing gear.
  2. Take-off: As the airliner "speeds up" for take-off, the landing gear can be manually folded in for flight.
  3. Flight: The model is designed to be held and "flown" manually.
  4. Landing: When approaching for "landing," manually fold out the landing gear. Activate the landing light by pressing the designated button (if applicable, usually near the landing gear or cockpit). The LED landing light will automatically switch off after approximately ten minutes to conserve battery life.
  5. Parking: After landing, the Follow-me vehicle can guide the aircraft to its parking position.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the model and accessories with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the model in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prevent material degradation.
  • Battery Replacement: When the landing light dims or stops working, replace the 3 LR41 batteries. Ensure proper polarity during installation.

Troubleshooting

Landing Light Not Working:
  • Check if the batteries are correctly installed with the correct polarity.
  • Replace the 3 LR41 batteries with new ones.
  • Ensure the light activation button (if present) is being pressed firmly.
