4. Setup

4.1 Powering the Baby Unit

  1. Connect the AC adapter to the Baby Unit's power jack.
  2. Plug the other end of the AC adapter into a wall outlet.
  3. The Baby Unit will power on automatically.

4.2 Installing and Charging the Parent Unit Batteries

The Parent Unit operates on rechargeable batteries. For optimal performance, charge the unit for at least 12 hours before first use.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the Parent Unit.

5.2 Volume Control

Adjust the listening volume on the Parent Unit:

  • Press the VOL ▼ button to decrease the volume.
  • Press the VOL ▲ button to increase the volume.
  • There are 5 volume levels. You can also mute the sound.
