3. Maintenance and Care
To ensure the longevity and optimal appearance of your ARREGUI Line E6808 mailbox, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Clean the exterior of the mailbox regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
- Lock Care: Periodically apply a small amount of graphite powder or a silicone-based lubricant to the lock mechanism to ensure smooth operation. Avoid oil-based lubricants as they can attract dust and dirt.
- Inspection: Periodically check the mounting screws to ensure they remain tight. Inspect the mailbox for any signs of damage or wear, especially after severe weather conditions.
- Protective Roof: Ensure the protective roof remains clear of debris to allow proper drainage and protection for the mail slot and lock.
4. Troubleshooting
