2. Safety Instructions
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in electric shock, fire, serious injury, or death.
- Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or installation work.
- Ensure the power supply voltage matches the specifications on the product label.
- Do not operate the pump with damaged cables or plugs. Have them replaced by a qualified electrician.
- Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the operating pump.
- Do not pump flammable, explosive, or corrosive liquids. This pump is designed for clear water only.
- Protect the pump from frost. Drain all water from the system if there is a risk of freezing.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the pump during operation.
- Install the pump on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
- Never run the pump dry. Ensure the pump is primed with water before starting.
3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for initial setup and installation of your pressure booster pump.
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Inspect the pump for any signs of damage during transit. Do not use if damaged.
- Ensure all parts listed in the packing list (if provided) are present.
3.2 Placement
- Place the pump on a firm, level, and dry surface.
- Ensure the location is protected from direct weather exposure and frost.
- Maintain adequate ventilation around the unit.
3.3 Connecting Hoses
- Connect the suction hose to the inlet port of the pump. Ensure a tight, airtight connection to prevent air leaks, which can affect pump performance.
- Connect the pressure hose to the outlet port of the pump.
- For optimal performance, use hoses with appropriate diameters and avoid kinks or sharp bends.

3.4 Priming the Pump
Before first use, the pump must be primed with water to ensure proper operation and prevent damage from dry running.
- Open the filling screw (usually located on top of the pump housing).
- Pour clean water into the pump housing until it is completely filled.
- Close the filling screw tightly.
- Ensure all valves in the suction line are open.
3.5 Electrical Connection
- Connect the power plug to a properly grounded electrical outlet.
- Ensure the electrical circuit is protected by a residual current device (RCD) for safety.
4. Operation
Once the pump is installed and primed, it is ready for operation.
4.1 Starting the Pump
- Ensure all connections are secure and the pump is primed.
- Switch on the power using the ON/OFF switch on the unit.
- The pump will start and build pressure in the 19L diaphragm tank.
- The integrated manometer allows you to monitor the operating pressure.

4.2 Automatic Operation (Pressure Switch)
The pump is equipped with an automatic pressure switch:
- When water is drawn (e.g., opening a tap), the pressure in the system drops, and the pressure switch automatically activates the pump.
- Once the water draw-off stops and the tank is refilled to the set pressure, the pump automatically switches off.
- This automatic control reduces energy consumption and extends the pump's lifespan.
4.3 Shutting Down
- To temporarily stop the pump, switch off the ON/OFF switch.
- For extended periods of non-use or maintenance, disconnect the power plug from the outlet.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the efficient and reliable operation of your pump.
5.1 Cleaning
- Periodically clean the exterior of the pump with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh detergents or solvents.
- Check the pre-filter (if installed) regularly and clean it as needed to prevent blockages.
5.2 Winterization (Frost Protection)
If the pump is exposed to freezing temperatures, it must be drained to prevent damage:
- Disconnect the pump from the power supply.
- Disconnect all hoses.
- Open the drain plug (water drain screw) to completely empty the pump and tank.
- Store the pump in a frost-free environment.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your pump.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Pump does not start | No power supply; ON/OFF switch off; Motor overload protection tripped. | Check power connection; Turn ON/OFF switch on; Allow motor to cool, then restart. |
| Pump runs but no water is delivered | Pump not primed; Air leak in suction line; Suction height too high; Suction filter blocked. | Prime the pump; Check all suction connections for leaks; Reduce suction height; Clean suction filter. |
| Low pressure or flow rate | Partial blockage in suction/pressure line; Air in system; Worn pump components. | Check and clear blockages; Re-prime the pump; Contact customer support for service. |
| Pump switches on and off frequently | Small leak in the system; Pressure tank pre-charge pressure incorrect; Pressure switch faulty. | Check for leaks in the entire system; Check and adjust pressure tank pre-charge; Contact customer support. |
