- Stud Finder (for wood stud walls)
- Level
- Pencil
- Phillips Head Screwdriver

3.2 Wall Preparation and Wall Plate Installation
- Determine Wall Type: Identify if your wall is wood stud, concrete, or brick. Different wall types require different mounting hardware.
- Locate Mounting Position: Use a stud finder to locate the center of two adjacent wood studs if mounting to wood. For concrete/brick, choose a suitable location away from electrical wires or pipes.
- Mark Drilling Points: Hold the wall plate against the wall at the desired height and use a level to ensure it is straight. Mark the drilling points through the holes on the wall plate with a pencil.
- Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. The drill bit size will depend on your wall type and the chosen anchors/lag bolts.
- Install Wall Anchors (if applicable): For concrete or brick walls, insert the plastic wall anchors into the drilled holes. Tap gently with a hammer until flush with the wall surface.
- Attach Wall Plate: Align the wall plate with the pilot holes/anchors. Secure the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts (for wood studs) or screws (for concrete/brick with anchors). Tighten all fasteners securely.

3.3 Attaching TV Bracket to Television
- Prepare TV: Lay your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
- Identify VESA Pattern: Locate the mounting holes on the back of your TV. Measure the horizontal and vertical distance between these holes to determine the VESA pattern.
- Select Screws and Spacers: Choose the correct diameter and length of screws from the provided hardware that fit your TV's mounting holes. Use spacers if necessary to ensure the screws do not penetrate too deeply or to create clearance for cables.
- Attach TV Bracket: Align the TV bracket assembly with the mounting holes on the back of your TV. Secure the bracket using the selected screws and washers. Do not overtighten.
3.4 Mounting Television to Wall Plate
- Lift TV: With assistance, carefully lift the television with the attached TV bracket.
- Hook onto Wall Plate: Align the hooks on the TV bracket with the corresponding slots on the wall plate. Gently lower the TV until it securely engages with the wall plate.
- Secure TV: Locate the safety screws or locking mechanisms on the TV bracket. Tighten these to prevent the TV from accidentally disengaging from the wall plate.
4. Operating and Adjusting the Mount
The Maclean MC-806 mount allows for easy tilt adjustment to achieve the optimal viewing angle.

- Adjusting Tilt: The mount features an adjustable tilt mechanism. Gently pull the bottom of your TV forward to tilt it downwards. The mount supports an incline of up to 32 degrees.
- Returning to Flat Position: Push the bottom of the TV back towards the wall until it is flush or at the desired angle.
No tools are required for tilt adjustment once the TV is mounted.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TV wall mount.
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish.
- Check Fasteners: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.
- Inspect for Damage: Regularly inspect the mount for any signs of wear, corrosion, or damage. If any damage is observed, discontinue use and contact support.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter during installation or use.
Issue: TV is not level after installation.
Solution: Carefully remove the TV from the wall plate. Check the wall plate's levelness using a spirit level. If it's not level, loosen the wall plate screws slightly, adjust the plate until level, and then retighten the screws securely. Re-mount the TV.
Issue: TV does not fit the mount.
Solution: Verify that your TV's VESA mounting pattern and weight are within the specifications of the Maclean MC-806 mount. This mount is compatible with Samsung Q7/Q8/Q9 series TVs from 49 to 65 inches and up to 50 kg. If your TV falls outside these specifications, the mount is not compatible.
Issue: Screws for TV attachment are too long or too short.
Solution: The package includes various screw lengths. Ensure you have selected the correct length that securely fastens the bracket without bottoming out or being too short. Use the provided spacers if additional clearance is needed.
