1. Important Safety Information
Please read and understand all instructions before beginning installation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or personal injury.
- All electrical work must be performed by a qualified, licensed electrician.
- Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before installation or servicing.
- Ensure the mounting structure can support the weight of the fan (at least 35 lbs).
- Do not operate the fan with damaged blades or housing.
- Maintain a minimum clearance of 7 feet from the floor to the bottom of the fan blades.
- Ensure blades are at least 18 inches from any walls or obstructions.
- This fan is designed for indoor use only.
2. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present before beginning installation:
- Motor Housing Assembly
- Fan Blades (4)
- Down Rod
- Canopy
- Mounting Bracket
- Light Kit Assembly (with integrated LED)
- Remote Control and Receiver
- Hardware Pack (screws, washers, wire nuts)
3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Pre-Installation Checklist
- Turn off power at the main circuit breaker.
- Ensure you have all necessary tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, ladder, etc.).
- Confirm the ceiling junction box is rated for fan support.
3.2 Mounting the Fan
Attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box. Secure the down rod to the motor housing, then carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it from the mounting bracket. It is recommended to have a second person assist during this step.
3.3 Wiring Instructions
Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to local electrical codes. Ensure all connections are secure. The remote receiver will be wired between the household supply and the fan motor/light kit. Consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure about any wiring steps.
3.4 Attaching the Blades
Securely attach each of the four ABS blades to the motor housing using the provided screws. Ensure all screws are tightened to prevent wobble.
3.5 Installing the Light Kit
Connect the light kit wiring to the fan motor wiring. Secure the light kit assembly to the bottom of the fan motor housing. The integrated LED light does not require bulb installation.

4. Remote Control Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control. Insert two AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
4.2 Pairing the Remote
The remote control and receiver are typically pre-paired from the factory. If the fan does not respond to the remote after installation, follow these steps:
- Ensure power to the fan is OFF at the wall switch or circuit breaker.
- Restore power to the fan.
- Within 30 seconds of restoring power, press and hold the 'HI' button on the remote control for 5 seconds.
- The fan light should blink or the fan should briefly spin to indicate successful pairing.

5. Operating Instructions
Use the remote control to operate your Lucci Air Aria ceiling fan.
5.1 Fan Speed Control
- Press 'HI' for high speed.
- Press 'MED' for medium speed.
- Press 'LOW' for low speed.
- Press 'OFF' to turn the fan off.
5.2 Light Control
- Press the light bulb button to turn the integrated LED light ON or OFF.
5.3 Reversible Motor Function (Summer/Winter Mode)
The fan features a reversible motor to optimize air circulation for different seasons. A switch on the fan's motor housing controls the direction of rotation.
- Summer Mode (Counter-clockwise rotation): Creates a downward airflow, producing a cooling effect.
- Winter Mode (Clockwise rotation): Creates an upward airflow, circulating warm air near the ceiling down into the room, which can help reduce heating costs.
To change the direction, ensure the fan is OFF and completely stopped. Locate the reverse switch on the motor housing (often near the down rod) and slide it to the desired position. Turn the fan back on.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To maintain the appearance and performance of your fan, regular cleaning is recommended.
- Always turn off power to the fan before cleaning.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the fan blades and motor housing.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
- Avoid getting water into the motor housing.
6.2 General Care
Periodically check all screws and connections for tightness. Over time, vibrations can cause them to loosen. Tighten any loose screws to ensure safe operation and prevent excessive wobble.
7. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your fan, refer to the following common solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Fan does not start | No power supply Loose wire connections Remote not paired Motor overload protection activated | Check circuit breaker and wall switch Verify all wiring connections are secure (consult electrician) Re-pair remote control (Section 4.2) Turn off power for 5 minutes, then restore |
| Light does not work | No power to light kit Loose wire connections Remote not paired | Check circuit breaker and wall switch Verify light kit wiring connections Re-pair remote control (Section 4.2) |
| Remote control not working | Dead batteries Remote not paired Obstruction between remote and receiver | Replace batteries Re-pair remote control (Section 4.2) Ensure clear line of sight to fan receiver (if applicable) |
| Excessive fan wobble | Loose blade screws Unbalanced blades Loose mounting hardware | Tighten all blade screws Use a blade balancing kit (sold separately) Ensure mounting bracket and down rod are secure |
