4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation (Battery and Charger Sold Separately)

1. Ensure the pole saw is turned off and the safety switch is engaged.
2. Align the fully charged 100-Volt lithium-ion battery with the battery port on the tool.
3. Slide the battery into place until it clicks securely.
4. To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.

4.2 Oiling the Chain

  2. Make a top cut further out from the undercut, allowing the branch to break cleanly.
  3. Make a final cut close to the trunk to remove the stub.
• Cutting Logs: When cutting logs on the ground, ensure they are stable and cannot roll. Avoid cutting into the ground, which can dull the chain.
• Overhead Cutting: When cutting overhead, stand clear of falling debris. Use the shoulder strap for better control and balance.
