Setup

Initial Charging

  1. Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the controller's charging port.

Connecting to NES Console

  6. Once both LEDs are solid, the controller is paired and ready for use.

Connecting to PC, Mac, or Android

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your PC, Mac, or Android device.
  2. On the Cadet controller, press and hold the Start button until the controller's LED indicator begins to flash rapidly. This puts the controller into pairing mode.
  3. On your device, search for new Bluetooth devices. The controller should appear as "Hyperkin Cadet" or similar.
  4. Select the controller to pair. The controller's LED will become solid once successfully paired.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press the Start button. The LED indicator will flash and then become solid if it connects to a previously paired device.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Start button for 3 seconds. The LED indicator will turn off. The controller will also automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery.
