Setup
Charging the Speaker
Before initial use, fully charge the iBT158 speaker. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port and a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is charged and powered on.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button on the speaker until the Bluetooth indicator light begins to flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
- Select "iHome iBT158" from the list of available devices.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will become solid, and you will hear an audible confirmation.
Operating the Speaker
Power On/Off
Press and hold the Power button located on the top of the speaker to turn the device on or off.
Audio Playback
After successful Bluetooth pairing, audio from your connected device will stream wirelessly to the iBT158 speaker. Use the Play/Pause button on the speaker or your connected device to control playback.
Volume Control
Adjust the volume using the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons on the speaker, or directly from your connected audio device.
Speakerphone Functionality
When a call comes in, press the Play/Pause button to answer. Press again to end the call. The speaker's built-in microphone with echo noise cancellation ensures clear communication.
Color Changing LED Modes
Press the Color Modes button to cycle through the five available LED lighting effects: slow blend, fast blend, favorite color, pulse-to-music, and lantern mode.

Voice Assistant Integration

Maintenance
Waterproof and Dustproof Care
The iBT158 is IP67 rated, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. After exposure to water, ensure the charging port cover is securely closed. Rinse the speaker with fresh water if exposed to saltwater or chlorinated water, and allow it to dry completely before charging.

- Poor Sound Quality: Move the speaker closer to your Bluetooth device to reduce interference. Ensure the speaker is not obstructed.
- Speaker Not Responding: Locate the reset button (often a small pinhole) and use a paperclip to press it briefly to reset the device.
