6. Operating Instructions
Your Unity Keyed Padlock features a Key Retain System and a Keyed Alike System for convenience and security.
6.1. Locking the Padlock
- Align the shackle with the padlock body.
- Push the shackle firmly until it clicks into the locked position.
- Remove the key. Due to the Key Retain System, the key can only be removed once the lock is securely closed.
6.2. Unlocking the Padlock
- Insert the key into the keyway.
- Turn the key clockwise to open the lock. The shackle will release.
- Remove the padlock from the hasp. The key will remain in the lock until it is relocked.
