3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the anemometer.
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.
3.2 Attaching the Lanyard
- Locate the lanyard attachment point at the bottom of the device.
- Thread the lanyard through the hole and secure it.
3.3 Tripod Mounting (Optional)
The AP-007 features a standard tripod mounting hole at its base for stable, hands-free measurements.
- Screw the anemometer onto the small tripod provided or any compatible tripod.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off
- Press the Power (ⓘ) button to turn the device on.
- Press and hold the Power (ⓘ) button to turn the device off manually.
- The device will automatically power off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
4.2 Changing Wind Speed Units
- Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available wind speed units: m/s, km/h, ft/min, knots, and mph.
4.3 Changing Temperature Units
- Press the °F/°C button to switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉).
4.4 Backlight Function
- Press the Backlight (☀) button to turn the LCD backlight on or off.
4.5 Max/Min/Average Measurement
- Press the MAX/MIN button to view the maximum or minimum wind speed recorded during the current measurement session.
- Press the AVG button to display the average wind speed.
4.6 Taking Measurements
- Hold the anemometer upright, ensuring the wind flow passes directly through the vanes for accurate readings.
- Avoid obstructing the airflow to the sensor.
- The current wind speed and temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
