Setup

1. Charging the Car Battery

  1. Connect the provided charger to a power outlet.
  2. Connect the 7.4V 1500mAh Lithium-Ion Polymer car battery to the charger.
  3. The charging indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
  4. Charging time is approximately 3 hours. Do not overcharge the battery.
  5. Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charger.

2. Installing the Car Battery

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the RC car.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Carefully insert the charged 7.4V 1500mAh battery into the compartment, ensuring the connectors align.
  4. Connect the battery plug to the car's power connector.
  5. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3. Installing Transmitter Batteries

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote transmitter.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 4 x AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On

  1. Turn on the power switch on the RC car. The car's indicator light should illuminate.
  2. Turn on the power switch on the remote transmitter. The transmitter's indicator light should illuminate.
  3. The car and transmitter will automatically pair. Once paired, the indicator lights will become solid.

2. Basic Controls

  • Throttle Trigger:
    • Pull the trigger towards you to move the car forward.
    • Push the trigger away from you to brake or reverse.
  • Steering Wheel:
    • Turn the wheel left to steer the car left.
    • Turn the wheel right to steer the car right.

3. Driving Tips

  • Start slowly to get a feel for the controls before attempting high speeds.
  • Practice steering and throttle control in an open area.
  • The car can be continuously operated for 10 minutes or above on a full charge. Monitor battery life to avoid sudden power loss.
  • The remote distance is approximately 100 meters. Keep the car within this range for optimal control.
  • Avoid driving into walls or hard objects at high speed to prevent damage.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning:
    • After each use, especially when driven on dirt or gravel, gently brush off any debris from the car's chassis, wheels, and suspension.
    • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the body. Do not use water or chemical cleaners.
  • Storage:
    • Remove batteries from both the car and the transmitter if storing for more than a few days.
    • Store the car and transmitter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care:
    • Always allow the battery to cool down before recharging.
    • Do not store fully charged or completely depleted batteries for long periods. Ideally, store Lithium-Ion batteries at around 50% charge.
  • Inspections:
    • Periodically check for loose screws, damaged wires, or worn-out parts.
    • Ensure wheels spin freely and steering components are not obstructed.
