4. Installation

For optimal performance, select an installation location that receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily. Avoid areas under eaves, trees, or other obstructions that may block sunlight or motion detection.

1. Choose Location: Identify a suitable outdoor wall or surface where the light can receive maximum sunlight and cover the desired area for motion detection.
2. Mark Drill Holes: Hold the light in the desired position and mark the locations for the mounting screws.
3. Drill Holes: Use a drill to create holes at the marked spots. Insert the provided wall plugs if installing into masonry or drywall.
4. Mount Light: Align the light with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure the light is firmly attached.

5. Operating Modes

The Aootek Solar Motion Sensor Light features three distinct operating modes, selectable via the back button. Press the button to cycle through the modes.

• Mode 1: Permanent On All Night

  The light automatically turns on at night and stays at 20% brightness continuously until dawn.

  When no motion is detected, the light stays at a slightly bright level. Upon detecting motion, the light brightens to 100% for 15 seconds, then returns to the slightly bright level.

• Mode 3: Motion Sensor Light Mode

  The light remains off at night when no motion is detected. When motion is detected, the light turns on at 100% brightness for 15 seconds, then turns off again.
