Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the Cooler Master SK621 RGB Gaming Keyboard. It covers essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your device. Please read this manual thoroughly to ensure proper use and to maximize your keyboard's features.
Setup
1. Unboxing and Package Contents
Carefully remove the keyboard and all accessories from the packaging. Ensure all components are present.

2. Wired Connection
- Connect the USB-C end of the provided cable to the port on the keyboard.
- Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard will automatically be detected and installed by your operating system.

3. Bluetooth Wireless Connection
The SK621 supports connecting up to three Bluetooth devices.
- Ensure the keyboard is in wireless mode. This is typically indicated by a switch or key combination.
- To enter pairing mode, press and hold Fn + Z, Fn + X, or Fn + C for approximately 3 seconds. The corresponding key (Z, X, or C) will flash blue, indicating it is ready to pair.
- On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), open Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select "Cooler Master SK621" from the list.
- Once paired, the blue light on the selected key will become solid.
- To switch between paired devices, press Fn + Z, Fn + X, or Fn + C briefly.
4. Software Installation (MasterPlus+)
For advanced customization of RGB lighting, macros, and key remapping, download and install the Cooler Master MasterPlus+ software from the official Cooler Master website. Connect the keyboard via USB for software configuration.
Operating Instructions
1. Basic Keyboard Functions
The SK621 features a 60% layout. Many standard keys are accessed via the Fn (Function) key combined with other keys. Refer to the keycaps for secondary functions.

2. RGB Lighting Control (On-board)
The SK621 offers extensive on-board RGB lighting customization without software.
- Fn + F1: Cycle through lighting modes.
- Fn + F2: Adjust LED Red color intensity.
- Fn + F3: Adjust LED Green color intensity.
- Fn + F4: Adjust LED Blue color intensity.
- Fn + F5: Increase lighting speed.
- Fn + F6: Decrease lighting speed.

- Press Fn + Right Shift to start macro recording. The LED will blink.
- Type the sequence of keys you wish to record.
- Press Fn + Right Shift again to stop recording.
- Press the key you wish to assign the macro to.
4. Profile Management
The keyboard supports multiple profiles for different settings.
- Fn + P1-P4: Switch between saved profiles.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Keyboard
To maintain optimal performance and appearance, clean your keyboard regularly.
- Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
- Use a can of compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps.
- Wipe the keycaps and keyboard surface with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid excessive moisture.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents.
2. Keycap Removal and Replacement
The SK621 uses Cherry MX Low-Profile switches. Keycaps can be removed for cleaning or replacement using a keycap puller (not included).
- Gently attach the keycap puller to the keycap you wish to remove.
- Pull straight up with even pressure until the keycap detaches from the switch stem.
- To replace, align the keycap with the switch stem and press down firmly until it clicks into place.

Troubleshooting
1. Keyboard Not Responding (Wired)
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
- Try a different USB port on your computer.
- Test the keyboard on another computer to rule out a system-specific issue.
- Check the cable for any damage; try a different USB-C cable if available.
2. Bluetooth Connectivity Issues
- Ensure the keyboard is charged and in wireless mode.
- Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Remove the keyboard from your device's paired Bluetooth devices list and attempt to re-pair it.
- Ensure the keyboard is within range of your device.
- Avoid sources of interference (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other wireless devices).
3. RGB Lighting Not Working or Incorrect
- Check brightness settings using Fn + F7 (increase) and Fn + F8 (decrease).
- Cycle through lighting modes using Fn + F1.
- If using MasterPlus+ software, ensure the lighting profile is correctly applied and the software is up to date.
4. Firmware Update
Regularly check the Cooler Master website for firmware updates. Firmware updates can resolve bugs and improve performance. Connect the keyboard via USB and use the MasterPlus+ software to perform updates.
5. Factory Reset
If you encounter persistent issues, a factory reset may resolve them. This will revert all settings to their default values.
- Press and hold Fn + E for 5 seconds. The keyboard lights will flash to confirm the reset.
