4. Product Overview

  1. LED Display: Shows HCHO and TVOC concentration readings.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
  2. Slide or gently pry open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 2 x AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 Initial Power On

After installing the batteries, press and hold the Power button (⑁) for a few seconds until the LED display illuminates. The device will typically perform a brief self-test before displaying readings.

Once powered on, the device will automatically begin detecting HCHO and TVOC levels in the surrounding air. The readings will be displayed on the LED screen in real-time.

6.3 Understanding Readings

The device measures concentrations in milligrams per cubic meter (Mg/M³). Refer to local air quality guidelines for recommended safe levels of HCHO and TVOC. Elevated readings may indicate poor air quality and suggest ventilation or other mitigation measures.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the casing or internal components.

7.2 Battery Replacement

When the battery indicator (if present) shows low power, or the display becomes dim, replace the AA batteries following the installation steps in Section 5.1.

7.3 Storage

Store the device in a cool, dry place within the specified storage temperature range (-10 °C to 45 °C). Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
