Important Safety Instructions

• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not use without filters in place.
• Turn off all controls before unplugging.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not use to pick up toxic, carcinogenic, combustible or other hazardous materials like asbestos, arsenic, barium, beryllium, lead, pesticides or other health endangering materials.
• Do not pick up soot, cement, plaster or drywall dust without a cartridge filter in place. These are very fine particles that may affect the performance of the motor or be exhausted back into the air.
• Do not leave the vacuum running unattended.

Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Vacmaster wet/dry vacuum before first use.

1. Attaching the Casters

1. Invert the collection tank.
2. Insert the caster feet into the slots on the bottom of the tank.
3. Push firmly until they click into place.

2. Filter Installation

Proper filter installation is crucial for optimal performance and motor protection.

For Dry Pickup:

• Ensure the Fine Dust Cartridge Filter is securely installed over the filter cage.
• The filter retainer should be in place to hold the cartridge filter firmly.
• Do not use the foam wet filter for dry pickup.

For Wet Pickup:

• Remove the Fine Dust Cartridge Filter.
• Install the Foam Wet Filter over the filter cage.
• Ensure the foam filter covers the entire cage.
• Do not use the cartridge filter for wet pickup.

3. Attaching the Hose and Accessories

1. Insert the large end of the hose into the vacuum inlet port on the front of the tank. Twist to secure.
2. Attach the desired extension wands to the hose.
3. Attach the appropriate nozzle (Floor Nozzle or Utility Nozzle) to the end of the extension wands.

Operating Instructions

Dry Vacuuming

• Ensure the Fine Dust Cartridge Filter is installed.
• Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
• Turn the vacuum on using the power switch located on the motor head.
• Guide the nozzle over the area to be cleaned, picking up dry debris.
• Empty the tank when it is full or suction decreases.

Wet Vacuuming

• Remove the Fine Dust Cartridge Filter and install the Foam Wet Filter.
• Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
• Turn the vacuum on.
• Guide the nozzle over the liquid spill. The vacuum will automatically shut off when the liquid reaches a certain level in the tank.
• Empty the tank immediately after wet pickup to prevent overflow and maintain performance.

Blower Function

Your Vacmaster wet/dry vacuum can be converted into a powerful blower for clearing debris from garages, driveways, or workshops.

1. Ensure the vacuum is unplugged.
2. Locate the blower port on the back of the motor head.
3. Insert the hose into the blower port and twist to secure.
4. Plug in the power cord and turn the vacuum on.
5. Direct the hose to blow away leaves, dust, or light debris.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Vacmaster wet/dry vacuum.

Emptying the Collection Tank

• Always unplug the vacuum before emptying.
• Release the latches on the side of the tank and lift off the motor head.
• Carefully pour out the collected debris or liquid into a suitable receptacle.
• Clean the inside of the tank with water and mild detergent if necessary, then dry thoroughly before reassembly.

Filter Cleaning and Replacement

Fine Dust Cartridge Filter:

• For dry debris, tap the filter gently against the inside of a trash can to dislodge dust.
• For heavily soiled filters, rinse under running water. Allow to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstallation. Do not use a wet filter for dry pickup.
• Replace the filter if it is damaged or if suction performance significantly decreases after cleaning.

Foam Wet Filter:

• Rinse the foam filter under running water to remove debris.
• Squeeze out excess water and allow to air dry completely before storing or using for wet pickup again.
