Setup and Installation
- Power Off: Before installation, ensure the power to the light fixture is turned off at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
- Select Fixture: This bulb is designed for outdoor use in fixtures with an E26 medium base. Ensure the fixture is rated for the bulb's wattage (15W).
- Install Bulb: Carefully screw the GE LED+ bulb into the E26 medium base socket until snug. Do not overtighten.
- Power On: Restore power to the light fixture from the circuit breaker. The bulb will perform an initial self-test.
- Positioning: For optimal motion detection, position the fixture so the bulb's sensor has a clear line of sight to the area you wish to monitor. Avoid obstructions.
Important Note: This bulb is not compatible with dimmer switches. Using it with a dimmer switch may cause malfunction or damage.

Operating Instructions
The GE LED+ Outdoor Security Flood Light Bulb operates automatically based on ambient light levels and motion detection.
- Dusk-to-Dawn Function: The integrated sensor detects ambient light. When it gets dark, the bulb will automatically illuminate at 50% brightness. It will remain at this level until dawn, when it will turn off.
- Motion Detection: When motion is detected during the dusk-to-dawn operating period, the bulb will increase its illumination to 100% brightness for approximately 3 minutes. After 3 minutes of no further motion, it will return to 50% brightness.
- Linkable System: This bulb can be linked with up to 30 other compatible GE LED+ Linkable Motion bulbs or fixtures to create a synchronized security lighting system. When motion triggers one linked bulb, all linked bulbs will activate to 100% brightness for 3 minutes. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Ensure power is off before cleaning. Wipe the bulb with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Bulb Replacement: The bulb has an estimated life of 15,000 hours. When the bulb reaches the end of its life, replace it with a new compatible GE LED+ Outdoor Security Flood Light Bulb.
