4. Bike Compatibility

Checking Your Bike's Bottom Bracket:

1. Measure the width of your bike's bottom bracket shell using calipers or a ruler. It should be between 68-73mm.
2. Measure the internal diameter of the bottom bracket. It should be between 34-36mm.

Step-by-Step Installation:

1. Remove Existing Components: Remove the existing crankset, bottom bracket, and any other components from the bottom bracket area of your bicycle. Clean the bottom bracket shell thoroughly.
2. Prepare the Motor: Attach the chosen chainring to the BAFANG mid-drive motor using the provided bolts.
3. Install the Motor: Slide the motor assembly into the bottom bracket shell. Secure the motor using the Y-shaped motor mount bracket on the left side of the bike, followed by the lock nuts. Tighten all nuts securely with the provided wrench.
4. Install Crank Arms: Attach the crank arms to the motor spindle.
5. Install Speed Sensor: Mount the speed sensor on the chainstay and attach the magnet to a spoke on the rear wheel. Ensure the sensor and magnet align correctly and are within the specified distance for detection.
