5. Operating Instructions
The TATAY 00452.01 timer operates with two main dials: Frequency and Duration.
5.1 Setting Watering Frequency
- Turn the 'FREQUENCY' dial (left dial) to select how often you want the watering cycle to occur.
- Available settings typically range from 1 hour to 7 days.
- For example, setting it to '12h' will initiate a watering cycle every 12 hours.
5.2 Setting Watering Duration
- Turn the 'DURATION' dial (right dial) to select how long each watering cycle should last.
- Available settings typically range from 1 minute to 120 minutes.
- For example, setting it to '30 min' will water for 30 minutes during each cycle.
5.3 Manual Watering / OFF
- To manually water, turn the DURATION dial to the 'ON' position. Water will flow continuously until you turn the dial back to 'OFF' or a timed duration.
- To stop all watering, turn both dials to the 'OFF' position.
Note: The timer will begin its first cycle shortly after both frequency and duration are set. Ensure the faucet is fully open for proper operation.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the exterior of the timer with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Filter Cleaning: The timer may contain an internal filter to prevent debris from entering. Check and clean this filter regularly, especially if water flow is reduced.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the battery annually or when the timer stops functioning correctly.
- Winter Storage: Before the first frost, disconnect the timer from the faucet and hose. Remove the battery. Store the timer in a dry, frost-free location to prevent damage from freezing water.
