4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to install your Mugast Home Digital Doorbell:
- Prepare the Door: Ensure your door has a peephole hole within the specified range of 14-28mm and a thickness between 35-100mm. If replacing an existing peephole, remove it carefully.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Insert the outdoor peephole camera unit through the door hole from the outside. Ensure the camera is facing outwards and is flush with the door surface.
- Attach Metal Bracket: From the inside of the door, slide the metal bracket over the cable and align it with the outdoor unit's threaded tube. Secure the bracket using the provided screws, tightening them to hold the outdoor unit firmly in place.
- Connect Indoor Unit: Connect the ribbon cable from the outdoor unit to the corresponding port on the back of the indoor display unit. Ensure the connection is secure.
- Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the indoor unit and insert 4 AAA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity.
- Mount Indoor Unit: Align the indoor display unit with the metal bracket and slide it downwards to secure it. The unit should click into place.

5. Operating Instructions
Once installed and powered on, the Mugast Home Digital Doorbell is ready for use.
5.1 Viewing Visitors
To view who is at your door, simply press the button on the indoor display unit. The 3.5-inch LCD screen will activate and show a live video feed from the outdoor camera. The 120-degree wide-angle lens provides a broad perspective of your doorstep.
5.2 24-Hour Monitoring
The device is designed for 24-hour monitoring. It will automatically activate and record images or video when motion is detected outside your door, providing continuous security surveillance.

6. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your digital doorbell, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the indoor display screen and the outdoor camera lens. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: The device operates on 4 AAA batteries. When the low power alert is displayed, replace all batteries with new ones to maintain continuous operation.
- Environmental Conditions: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or high humidity.
