Setup

1. Battery Installation & First Use

The headlamp comes with a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery. It may be pre-installed or require insertion.

1. Unscrew the end cap of the headlamp to access the battery compartment.
2. Insert the provided 18650 Lithium Polymer battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the headlamp's LED end.
3. Securely screw the end cap back on.
4. Before first use, fully charge the headlamp.

2. Charging the Headlamp

The Sofirn headlamp features a hidden USB-C charging port for convenient recharging.

1. Locate the hidden USB-C port on the side of the headlamp. It is usually protected by a cap or a rotating section of the body.
2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the headlamp's port and the other end to a standard USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
3. An indicator light will show the charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for full).
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and ensure the USB-C port is properly sealed to maintain waterproof integrity.

3. Adjusting the Headband

The elastic headband is fully adjustable to fit various head sizes or to be worn over a hard hat.

• Place the headlamp on your head or hard hat.
• Adjust the straps by pulling them through the buckles until a comfortable and secure fit is achieved.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off and Mode Selection

The headlamp features a simple user interface with a single power button.

• To turn ON the headlamp, press the power button once.
• To turn OFF the headlamp, press the power button once again.
• To change brightness modes (Low, Medium 1, Medium 2, High, Turbo), press and hold the power button while the light is on. The headlamp will cycle through the modes. Release the button to select the desired mode.
• The headlamp has a memory function and will turn on in the last used brightness mode.
• For special modes like Strobe, a quick double-press or triple-press might activate it (refer to specific product documentation if available, as this is a common flashlight feature).

Adjusting Beam Angle

The headlamp unit can be tilted up or down to direct the light where needed.

• Gently tilt the headlamp body within its bracket to adjust the beam angle up to 180 degrees.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the headlamp with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Care:
  • Charge the battery regularly, even if not in frequent use, to prolong its lifespan.
  • Avoid fully discharging the battery.
  • If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to about 50% and store in a cool, dry place.
  • The battery can be removed and charged externally with a compatible 18650 charger if desired.
• Water Resistance: The headlamp is waterproof. Ensure the USB-C port cover is securely closed to maintain its water resistance rating (IP65).
• Storage: Store the headlamp in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
