The Electrohome Kingston RR75 is a versatile 7-in-1 stereo system designed to play various audio formats. It features a 3-speed turntable, Bluetooth connectivity, AM/FM radio, CD player, Aux-in port, RCA output, headphone output, and USB playback/recording capabilities.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the unit and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or service.
  2. Placement: Place the unit on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or moisture.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the AC inlet on the back of the unit, then plug it into a standard wall outlet.
  4. Remote Control Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the remote control and insert the two AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
  5. Turntable Protection: Remove any protective shipping materials from the turntable platter and tonearm. Ensure the tonearm is unlocked from its rest.

Operating Instructions

1. Turntable Operation

The turntable supports three playback speeds: 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM.

  1. Lift the turntable lid.
  2. Place a vinyl record on the platter. For 45 RPM singles, use the included 45 RPM adaptor.
  3. Select the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78) using the speed selector switch.
  4. Gently lift the tonearm and position the stylus over the desired track on the record.
  5. Lower the tonearm slowly onto the record. Playback will begin automatically.
  6. To stop playback, lift the tonearm and return it to its rest.

2. Bluetooth Playback

Stream audio wirelessly from your Bluetooth-enabled devices.

  1. Press the 'Source' button until 'Bluetooth' mode is selected. The display will show 'bt' and flash, indicating pairing mode.
  2. On your external device (smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for 'Electrohome RR75'.
  3. Select 'Electrohome RR75' to pair. Once connected, the 'bt' indicator will stop flashing.
  4. Begin playing audio on your device. The sound will be routed through the stereo system.

3. CD Player Operation

  1. Press the 'Source' button until 'CD' mode is selected.
  2. Press the 'Eject' button to open the CD tray.
  3. Place a CD with the label side facing up into the tray.
  4. Press the 'Eject' button again to close the tray. The CD will load and begin playback automatically.
  5. Use the 'Play/Pause', 'Skip Forward', and 'Skip Backward' buttons to control playback.

4. AM/FM Radio

  1. Press the 'Source' button until 'AM' or 'FM' mode is selected.
  2. Extend the FM antenna located at the back of the unit for optimal reception.
  3. Use the 'Tune' knob or 'Seek' buttons to find desired radio stations.

5. Aux-in Connection

Connect external audio devices using a 3.5mm audio cable.

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the 'AUX IN' port on the front of the unit.
  2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device.
  3. Press the 'Source' button until 'AUX' mode is selected.
  4. Play audio from your external device.

6. USB Playback and Recording

The USB port allows for MP3 playback and recording of vinyl or CD audio.

  1. USB Playback: Insert a USB drive containing MP3 files into the USB port. Select 'USB' mode using the 'Source' button. The unit will automatically detect and play MP3 files.
  2. Recording to USB:
    • Insert a USB drive into the USB port.
    • Select either 'PHONO' (turntable) or 'CD' as the source.
    • Begin playing the vinyl record or CD you wish to record.
    • Press the 'RECORD' button on the unit. The recording indicator will illuminate.
    • To stop recording, press the 'RECORD' button again. The recorded audio will be saved as an MP3 file on the USB drive.

7. Remote Control

The included remote control provides convenient access to various functions, including source selection, volume adjustment, and playback controls.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
