Setup
1. Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Choose a suitable location for the safe, preferably a discreet and secure spot. Ensure the surface is flat and stable.

2. Battery Installation
The digital lock requires batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartment, usually on the inside of the safe door. Insert the correct type and number of batteries, observing polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
3. Initial Opening (First Use)
For the first opening, use the override key. Insert the key into the keyhole (often concealed behind a cover on the keypad) and turn it while simultaneously turning the handle to open the door.

4. Securing the Safe (Optional)
For enhanced security, the safe can be bolted to a wall or floor. Locate the pre-drilled mounting holes on the back or bottom of the safe. Use the provided mounting hardware to secure the safe firmly.

Operating Instructions
1. Setting Your Personal Code
With the safe door open, locate the reset button (usually a small button on the inside of the door or near the battery compartment). Press the reset button. The LCD display will indicate that you can now enter a new code. Enter your desired 8-digit code using the keypad, then press the '#' or 'START' button to confirm. Test the new code with the door open before closing it.

2. Opening the Safe with Your Code
Enter your 8-digit personal code on the keypad. The LCD display will show the entered digits. After entering the full code, press the '#' or 'START' button. If the code is correct, the display will indicate "OPEN" or a similar message, and you will hear a click. Within a few seconds, turn the handle clockwise to open the safe door.
3. Closing and Locking the Safe
Close the safe door firmly. Turn the handle counter-clockwise until it is fully engaged. The safe is now locked. No code entry is required to lock the safe.
4. Using the Override Key
In case of forgotten code, battery depletion, or electronic malfunction, the safe can be opened using the override key. Remove the keyhole cover on the keypad. Insert the override key and turn it. While holding the key turned, rotate the handle to open the safe door.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the LCD display. Always replace all batteries at once with new ones of the same type.
- Key Maintenance: Keep the override keys clean and dry. Do not lubricate the keyhole.
