Setup

Operating Instructions
The shredder features a 4-mode switch for various operations.

- Selecting a Mode:
- AUTO: The shredder will automatically start when paper is inserted and stop when shredding is complete. This is the standard operating mode.
- OFF: The shredder is powered off. Always select this mode when emptying the bin or when the shredder is not in use.
- REV (Reverse): Moves the shredder blades in reverse. Use this to clear paper jams.
- FWD (Forward): Moves the shredder blades forward continuously. Use this for specific shredding tasks or to clear minor jams.
- Shredding Paper:
- Set the control switch to AUTO.
- Insert up to 8 sheets of 20-pound paper into the paper entry slot. Do not exceed the maximum capacity to prevent jams.
- The shredder will automatically start and stop.
- Shredding Credit Cards/CDs:
- Set the control switch to AUTO.
- Insert one credit card or CD/DVD into the dedicated slot.
- The shredder will automatically start and stop.
- Continuous Run Time:
The shredder has a continuous run time of 5 minutes. After 5 minutes of continuous operation, allow the shredder to cool down for 30 minutes to prevent overheating. The Overheat indicator light will illuminate if the shredder exceeds its operating temperature.
Maintenance

- Emptying the Waste Bin:
- Set the control switch to OFF and unplug the shredder.
- Pull out the waste bin from the front of the shredder.
- Dispose of the shredded material.
- Reinsert the waste bin securely. The shredder will not operate if the bin is not properly closed (Door Open indicator).

- Cleaning:
