Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the safety and functionality of your monitor mount. Please follow these steps carefully. It is recommended to have a second person assist during installation, especially when mounting the monitor.
1. Prepare the Mounting Location
Identify a suitable wall location. The mount is designed for both brick walls and wood stud walls. Ensure there are no hidden electrical wires or plumbing in the drilling path. Use a stud finder for wood studs.

2. Attach VESA Plate to Monitor
The VESA plate detaches from the arm for easier monitor attachment. Secure the VESA plate to the back of your monitor using the provided screws. Ensure the screws are tightened securely but do not overtighten.

3. Mount the Arm to the Wall
Using the appropriate hardware for your wall type (wood stud or concrete), securely fasten the wall plate of the monitor arm to the wall. Use a level to ensure the mount is straight.
4. Attach Monitor to Arm
Carefully slide the monitor with the attached VESA plate onto the arm's mounting head. Ensure it clicks into place or is secured with the locking mechanism.
5. Cable Management
Route your monitor's cables through the integrated cable management channels on the arm. This helps maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your WALI Monitor Wall Mount, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
- Periodic Checks: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
- Gas Spring: If the monitor does not hold its position, re-adjust the gas spring tension as described in the "Operating and Adjustments" section.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your WALI Monitor Wall Mount, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Monitor sags or does not hold position. | Gas spring tension is too low for the monitor's weight. | Increase gas spring tension by turning the adjustment screw clockwise. Refer to "Gas Spring Tension Adjustment" in the Operating section. |
| Monitor is difficult to move or adjust. | Gas spring tension is too high for the monitor's weight, or pivot points are too tight. | Decrease gas spring tension by turning the adjustment screw counter-clockwise. Loosen screws at pivot points slightly if movement is still stiff. |
| Mount feels unstable on the wall. | Improper installation or loose wall mounting screws. | Ensure wall anchors are correctly installed and all wall mounting screws are securely tightened. Verify the wall structure can support the weight. |
