1. Introduction

This compact and portable blender is designed for convenient preparation of fresh juices, smoothies, and other blended beverages. Featuring a 400 ml Tritan jar and a powerful motor, it offers a simple and efficient blending experience. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

2. Safety Information

• Read all instructions: Before operating the blender, carefully read and understand all instructions provided in this manual.
• Electrical Safety: Do not immerse the motor base in water or other liquids. Ensure the charging port is dry before connecting the charging cable.
• Blade Safety: The blades are sharp. Handle with extreme care when assembling, disassembling, or cleaning the unit. Avoid contact with moving parts.
• Child Safety: Keep the blender out of reach of children. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities unless supervised.
• Proper Use: Do not operate the blender without the jar securely attached. Do not overfill the jar.
• Temperature: Do not blend hot liquids. Allow hot ingredients to cool before blending.
• Hard Ingredients: Avoid blending extremely hard ingredients such as whole nuts, coffee beans, or large ice cubes, as this may damage the blades or motor.
• Charging: Use only the provided charging cable. Do not attempt to charge the blender with damaged cables or chargers.

4. Setup

1. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the blending jar and lid with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry all parts. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
2. Charging: Ensure the blender is fully charged before first use. Connect the charging cable to the charging port on the motor base and plug it into a suitable USB power source. The indicator light will show charging status (refer to Figure 3.3).
3. Assembly: Place the blade assembly (integrated into the lid) onto the motor base. Ensure it is securely twisted and locked into place. Then, attach the Tritan jar to the blade assembly, twisting until it clicks securely.

5. Operating

1. Prepare Ingredients: Cut fruits and vegetables into small pieces (approximately 1-2 cm) to ensure optimal blending.
2. Add Ingredients: Place your desired ingredients into the Tritan jar. For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, and finally harder ingredients. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (400 ml).
3. Secure the Lid: Ensure the lid with the blade assembly is securely fastened onto the jar, and the jar is securely attached to the motor base. The blue indicator light should illuminate, confirming proper assembly and readiness.
4. Start Blending: Double-press the power button to start the blending cycle. The blender will operate for a preset duration (typically 30-40 seconds) or until you press the button again to stop.
5. Blending Tips:
   • If ingredients are stuck, gently shake the blender while it is operating.
   • For thicker mixtures, add more liquid.
   • Do not continuously operate the blender for more than 1 minute to prevent overheating. Allow it to cool down if multiple cycles are needed.
6. After Blending: Once blending is complete, carefully unscrew the jar from the motor base. You can drink directly from the jar or pour the contents into another container.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and proper storage will extend the life of your Deerma NU05 blender.

• Cleaning the Jar and Lid: After each use, rinse the jar and blade assembly immediately to prevent food residue from drying. You can fill the jar with water and a drop of dish soap, then run a short blending cycle to clean the blades. Disassemble the jar and lid, wash with warm soapy water, and rinse thoroughly.
• Cleaning the Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water or place it under running water. Ensure the charging port is dry before cleaning.
• Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
• Storage: Store the blender in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
