Setup

1. Connecting the Base Station

  1. Connect the telephone line cord to the LINE socket on the base station and to your telephone wall socket.
  2. Connect the power adapter to the POWER socket on the base station and then plug it into a mains power outlet.
  3. Place the base station on a flat, stable surface, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

2. Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset.
  2. Insert the supplied rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.
  4. Place the handset on the charging base. The display will indicate charging.
  5. Allow the handset to charge for at least 12-15 hours before initial use to ensure full battery capacity.

3. Handset Registration (for additional handsets or re-registration)

Your Brondi Bravo Bright supports ECO DECT GAP, allowing up to 5 handsets to be registered to one base station.

  1. On the base station, press and hold the PAGE/LOCATE button for approximately 5 seconds until the registration indicator on the base starts flashing.
  2. On the handset, navigate to the MENU, then select REGISTRATION or ADD HANDSET.
  3. Enter the system PIN (default is usually 0000 or 1234). Refer to the display for confirmation.
  4. Once registered, the handset will display its assigned number (e.g., Handset 1).

Operating Instructions

Making a Call

  1. Lift the handset from the base or press the CALL button (green receiver icon).
  2. Dial the desired phone number.
  3. Press the CALL button again if you pre-dialed the number.

Receiving a Call

When the phone rings, lift the handset from the base or press the CALL button (green receiver icon) to answer.

Using the Speakerphone (Hands-Free)

During a call, press the SPEAKERPHONE button (usually indicated by a speaker icon) to activate hands-free mode. Press it again to return to handset mode.

Adjusting Volume

Use the UP/DOWN navigation buttons on the side of the handset to adjust the earpiece or speakerphone volume during a call. The phone features high ring and listening volume.

BOOST Function

For amplified listening, press the dedicated BOOST button during a call. This increases the audio volume for clearer conversations, especially useful for users with hearing difficulties.

Backlit Display

The large backlit display provides clear visibility of caller ID, menu options, and other information, even in low-light conditions.

Phonebook

To store a contact:

  1. Press the MENU button.
  2. Navigate to PHONEBOOK or CONTACTS and select ADD NEW ENTRY.
  3. Enter the name and phone number using the keypad.
  4. Press SAVE or OK to store the entry.

To dial from the phonebook:

  1. Press the PHONEBOOK button (often a dedicated button or accessible via MENU).
  2. Scroll through the entries using the UP/DOWN navigation buttons.
  3. Press the CALL button to dial the selected contact.

Maintenance

  • Wipe the handset and base station with a soft, damp cloth.
