Setup

Loading Fasteners

1. Locate the T-end of the barbs (fasteners).
2. Insert the T-end into the T-slot on the top of the gun vertically. Ensure the fasteners slide smoothly into the slot.

Inserting / Replacing Needle

The tagging gun comes with a needle pre-installed. If replacement is needed:

1. Turn the needle lock towards the front of the gun (away from the handle).
2. Pull out the old needle.
3. Insert the new needle, ensuring the groove on the needle aligns with the internal mechanism.
4. Turn the needle lock towards the back of the gun (towards the handle) to secure the new needle.

Operating Instructions

Attaching Tags

1. With fasteners loaded, insert the needle through the tag you wish to attach.
2. Then, insert the needle through the fabric or item, pressing the nose of the gun against the material.
3. Squeeze the trigger firmly to push the fastener through the garment.
4. Release the trigger to return it to the neutral position. The fastener will be securely attached, and the gun will be ready for the next tag.

Maintenance

• Needle Care: The standard needle is 0.08 inches thick. While safe for most fabrics, it may leave a visible hole on very fine or delicate materials like silk. For such fabrics, it is recommended to attach fasteners in seams of the garment or on sewn-in labels to minimize visibility of the hole.
• Storage: Always replace the needle protector cover when the gun is not in use to prevent accidental injury and protect the needle. Store the gun and accessories in the provided storage bag in a dry, clean place.
• Cleaning: Keep the gun free from dust and debris. Wipe with a dry cloth as needed.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your tagging gun, consider the following common solutions:

• Fasteners Not Dispensing: Ensure the fasteners are correctly loaded into the T-slot with the T-end facing upwards. Check for any bent or misaligned fasteners that might be causing a jam.
• Needle Jamming: If the needle gets stuck, gently pull it out. This can sometimes happen if the fabric is too thick or if the needle is not perfectly aligned. Ensure the needle lock is fully engaged after replacement.
