Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your LED deck lights:
- Planning: Determine the desired locations for each of the 10 deck lights. Ensure the total cable length from the LED driver to the furthest light is sufficient.
- Drilling Holes: Using an appropriate drill bit, create circular holes with a diameter of 22mm (0.87 inches) at each planned light location. Ensure the depth is sufficient to accommodate the light fitting (approximately 1mm projection).
- Wiring:
- Feed the cable from each LED light fitting through its respective drilled hole.
- Connect the cables from the individual light fittings to the provided extension lead or directly to the LED driver, ensuring secure connections. The system is designed for easy plug-and-play connection.
- Ensure all connections are tight and protected from moisture, especially in outdoor environments.
- Mounting Lights: Gently push each LED light fitting into its drilled hole until it sits flush with the surface. The polished stainless steel finish should be visible.
- Power Connection: Connect the 12V 3-pin plug LED driver to a suitable mains power outlet.
- Testing: Turn on the power supply to test all lights. If any light does not illuminate, check its connection.
Operating Instructions
Once installed and connected to a power source, the Saxby Lighting LED Deck Lights will illuminate when power is supplied to the LED driver. Operation is typically controlled via the mains power switch connected to the outlet where the driver is plugged in.
Maintenance
These LED deck lights require minimal maintenance:
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the stainless steel and polycarbonate surfaces with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect cables and connections for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Address any issues promptly to ensure safety and performance.
- LED Longevity: The integrated LED modules are designed for long life and are not user-replaceable.
