Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, use a screen-specific cleaning solution applied to the cloth, not directly to the screen.
  • Software Updates: The Roku TV automatically checks for and installs software updates. Ensure your TV is connected to the internet to receive these updates, which improve performance and add new features.
  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate airflow around the TV to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your TV, try the following basic troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power: Check if the power cable is securely connected to both the TV and the power outlet. Try a different outlet.
  • No Picture/Sound: Verify that the correct input source is selected. Check all cable connections to external devices.
  • Network Connection Issues: Restart your router and modem. Reconnect the TV to your Wi-Fi network via the settings menu.
  • Remote Not Responding: Replace the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV.

For more detailed troubleshooting, refer to the online support resources available on the TCL or Roku websites.
