Setup
1. Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items are present: one parent unit, one baby unit (camera), and two power adapters. Inspect for any signs of damage.
2. Charging the Parent Unit
Before initial use, fully charge the parent unit battery for optimal performance. Connect one power adapter to the parent unit and plug it into a wall outlet. The battery indicator will show charging status. A full charge typically takes several hours.
3. Placing the Baby Unit (Camera)
Position the baby unit in a location that provides a clear view of your baby's crib or sleeping area. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from the crib to prevent entanglement with the power cord. The camera features an adjustable stand for optimal angling.

Connect the second power adapter to the baby unit and plug it into a wall outlet. The baby unit must remain plugged in for continuous operation.
4. Powering On
- Baby Unit: Slide the ON/OFF switch on the side of the baby unit to the 'ON' position. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- Parent Unit: Slide the ON/OFF switch on the top of the parent unit to the 'ON' position. The screen will power on and automatically connect to the baby unit.
The units are pre-linked at the factory. If connection issues occur, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

Parent Unit Overview

- Screen: Displays live video feed from the baby unit.

- VOL ▲/▼ Buttons: Adjust the listening volume of the parent unit.

- Return Button: Go back to the previous menu or exit the menu.
- Screen On/Off Button: Press to turn the screen off while keeping audio monitoring active. Press again to turn the screen back on.
Automatic Night Vision
The baby unit is equipped with infrared LEDs that automatically activate in low-light conditions. This provides a clear, black-and-white video feed on the parent unit, allowing you to monitor your baby even in a dark room.
Two-Way Talk-Back Intercom
To speak to your baby, press and hold the TALK button on the parent unit. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the button when you are finished speaking to resume listening to your baby.
Temperature Monitoring
The parent unit displays the temperature detected by the baby unit in your baby's room. This feature helps ensure the nursery environment is comfortable for your child.
Menu Options
Press the MENU/SELECT button to access the following options:
- Lullabies: Select from various melodies to play for your baby. You can adjust the volume of the lullabies.
- Screen Brightness: Adjust the brightness level of the parent unit screen.
- Timer: Set a timer for various purposes, such as feeding reminders.
- VOX (Voice Activated Transmission): Enable this feature to have the parent unit's screen and/or audio activate only when sound is detected from the baby unit. This conserves battery life and reduces constant background noise. You can adjust the sensitivity level of the VOX feature.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Clean the baby unit and parent unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use cleaning sprays or liquid cleaners. Ensure the units are dry before use.
Battery Care (Parent Unit)
- To prolong battery life, fully charge the parent unit before first use and whenever the low battery indicator appears.
- Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures.
- If storing the unit for an extended period, remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place.
Storage
When not in use, store the monitor in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Troubleshooting
No Link / Poor Connection
- Ensure both the baby unit and parent unit are powered on and within range (up to 1,000ft).
- Move the parent unit closer to the baby unit.
- Relocate the units to avoid interference from other electronic devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, cordless phones).
- Reset the units by disconnecting power from both, waiting a few seconds, and then reconnecting.
No Sound / Poor Sound Quality
- Increase the volume on the parent unit using the VOL ▲ button.
- Ensure the baby unit is not too far from the sound source.
- Check for any obstructions between the units.
Screen is Blank
- Press the Screen On/Off button to reactivate the display.
- Check if the parent unit battery is charged or if the unit is connected to power.
- If VOX mode is active, the screen may turn off when no sound is detected.
Battery Not Charging
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the parent unit and a working wall outlet.
- Verify that you are using the original VTech power adapter.
- The battery may need replacement if it no longer holds a charge.
