1. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.
- Read all instructions before operating the appliance.

2. Product Components
Familiarize yourself with the main parts of your Kalorik Digital Air Fryer XL.
- Main Unit: Houses the heating element and fan.
- Control Panel: Digital display for temperature, time, and preset functions.
- Cooking Basket: Removable basket for holding food.
- Crisper Tray: Inserted into the cooking basket to allow air circulation around food.
- Handle: For safely pulling out and inserting the cooking basket.

3. Setup and First Use
3.1 Unpacking
- Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the appliance.
- Check that all components are present and undamaged.
3.2 Initial Cleaning
- Wash the cooking basket and crisper tray with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Wipe the inside and outside of the main unit with a damp cloth.
- Note: The cooking basket and crisper tray are dishwasher safe.
3.3 Placement
- Place the air fryer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure there is at least 6 inches (15 cm) of clear space on all sides and above the appliance for proper ventilation.
- Do not place the appliance against a wall or other appliances.
3.4 Pre-heating (Optional, but Recommended)
Before first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes to eliminate any manufacturing odors.
- Plug the appliance into a grounded wall outlet.
- Set the temperature to 400°F (200°C) and the timer to 15 minutes.
- A slight odor may be present during this initial use; this is normal.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Control Panel Overview

- Power Button: Turns the unit on/off.
- Temperature Control: Adjusts cooking temperature up to 400°F (200°C).
- Time Control: Adjusts cooking time up to 60 minutes.
- Preset Menus: Seven pre-programmed settings for common foods.
4.2 General Operation
- Prepare Food: Place ingredients in the cooking basket, ensuring not to overfill. For best results, do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Insert Basket: Slide the cooking basket back into the main unit until it clicks into place.
- Power On: Press the Power button. The display will illuminate.
- Set Temperature and Time:
- Use the Temperature controls to set the desired cooking temperature.
- Use the Time controls to set the desired cooking duration.
- Use Preset Functions (Optional): Select one of the 7 preset icons for automatic temperature and time settings for specific foods. You can adjust these settings manually after selecting a preset.
- Start Cooking: Press the Power button again to start the cooking cycle. The fan and heating element will activate.
- Shake/Flip Food: For even cooking, some foods may require shaking or flipping halfway through the cooking time. Carefully pull out the basket using the handle, shake or flip the food, and reinsert the basket. The air fryer will resume cooking automatically.
- Cooking Completion: The timer will count down to zero, and the air fryer will beep to indicate cooking is complete.
- Remove Food: Carefully pull out the cooking basket. Use heat-resistant tongs to remove cooked food.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button to turn off the appliance. Unplug from the wall outlet.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your air fryer.
5.1 Before Cleaning
- Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
5.2 Cleaning the Basket and Crisper Tray
- Remove the cooking basket and crisper tray from the main unit.
- Wash them in hot soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge.
- Alternatively, the cooking basket and crisper tray are dishwasher safe.
- For stubborn food residue, soak the basket and tray in hot water with dish soap for about 10 minutes before cleaning.
5.3 Cleaning the Main Unit
- Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Clean the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth and mild dish soap.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing or reusing the appliance.
5.4 Storage
Store the air fryer in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure the power cord is neatly wrapped and secured.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your air fryer, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
